Dr Justine Carrion-Weiss
Justine is the director of The Blooming Platypus, a design innovation agency tackling complex business and societal challenges.
With 10 years of experience as a vibrant design facilitator and practitioner-researcher, Justine is passionate about using design-led innovation to create a fairer, more sustainable future.
She loves the diversity of her work — whether learning about mussels or geographic information systems. Justine also serves as a Design Expert for the Design Council and worked at Northumbria University’s Responsible Innovation Hub as part-time researcher. Born near Dijon, France, she’s fluent in French and English, with a knack for Spanish and Portuguese. Outside of work, she is an avid runner chasing her next PB.
